Many of us rely heavily on our calendars to manage our daily schedules, and I'm no exception. With 35 different calendars feeding into my Google Calendar, it's essential that every event is logged accurately to keep my life in sync. I've discovered an innovative use of AI that significantly boosts my calendaring efficiency.

Recently, I experimented with AI tools to convert a webinar series flyer into individual Google Calendar events. The process was seamless and quick, creating ready-to-save calendar entries in under 30 seconds. This tech tip isn't just about saving time; it's about leveraging technology to enhance the reliability and detail of our schedules, ensuring that every appointment is precisely where it needs to be.

Moving onto a bit of a rant—there's a lot of noise out there about "powerful AI prompts" that promise to revolutionize productivity. Let's set the record straight: there is no magical set of commands. Like any tool, the effectiveness of AI depends on how we use it.

Historically, people have struggled with delegation, and AI is no exception. It's crucial to understand that working with AI is a relationship. It requires clear communication and a bit of patience to train the technology to meet your specific needs. Each interaction with AI should be seen as a step in an ongoing dialogue, where you refine and improve the outputs together.

Echoing insights from one of the most influential voices in podcasting, Tim Ferriss, the real skill lies in asking better questions—and then asking again. It’s about refining your inquiries to get closer to what you really need, whether it’s from a person or an AI.
