How many emails have you gotten with this subject line today? Let me know. I'm keeping a tally.

It's the problem with the digital world. There is so much content produced these days, that it really is pretty darn impossible to say anything new.

But, this month I found some cool stuff and read a few compelling blogs that shifted my perspective on a few things. And for me, that's the equivalent of new.

Morning Brew, which I'm sure you're all subscribed to, had a great piece on AI by Dan McCarthy.

"Conventional wisdom says that if and when the robots arrive, work will disappear. Whether this is good or bad depends on your perspective on fully automated luxury communism, but I digress. My point is that many agree that many jobs will, due to robots, go poof.

But automation is not so simple. Introducing a robot to the factory floor doesn’t automatically send some number of humans to the unemployment line. It can, and it does, but not always. In fact, so-called labor-destroying technologies can actually preserve and create work."

In NewStatesman, Will Dunn askes a truly uncomfortable question. Given the enormous salaries of most CEOs, is it time to automate that role? If a single role is as expensive as thousands of workers, it is surely the prime candidate for robot-induced redundancy. Ouch. The truth hurts.

Here's a picture of me recording the audiobook for On Productivity. It's a lot harder than reading a chapter of Harry Potter to the kids, that's for sure.

The book is getting awesome reviews on Amazon. If you have some time, (and you've read it), drop a review in there. Much appreciated.

It's Not Clubhouse. It's Better. I'm doing this cool thing on Voxer that I’m imaging is the next generation of my podcast. I’m calling it The Less Doing Labs. It’s time to be a bit more unfiltered and in the moment with you all. This private group chat will give access to me for $12 a month or a hundred dollars for the year. If you're interested vox me at voxwithari.com
