So anyway...

I'm excited to share some updates from the trenches of productivity here at

the Foundry and in our Kaizen group coaching program.

Today, I want to dive into the details of process optimization and efficiency gains because, let me tell you, it's been quite the journey.

In our recent live stream session, I delved into my social media dissemination process, showcasing how automation tools like Zapier and Trello can truly revolutionize our workflows. But it's not just about the tools; it's about cultivating a mindset of continuous improvement.

One area where I've seen significant improvements is in our recruiting process for the rescue squad. We faced inefficiencies and even sabotage from previous team members, but we didn't let that stop us. We doubled down on automation with Airtable, ensuring that applicants seamlessly progress through each stage, reducing manual intervention, and speeding up the onboarding process.

But my dedication to efficiency doesn't stop there.

We've implemented automated follow-ups in Airtable to ensure no candidate falls through the cracks and even streamlined the process for welcoming new members, shaving off valuable time from application to active duty.

Efficiency isn't just a buzzword for me; it's a mindset that permeates every aspect of my life. Reflecting on my journey into Krav Maga, I realized that efficiency was the driving force behind my choice.

Just as the McDonald's brothers optimized their restaurant operations for maximum efficiency, I seek to optimize my endeavors, whether it's in martial arts or business ventures.

Drawing parallels to the Cheesecake Factory's expansive menu, I want to highlight the importance of starting with efficiency in mind. By focusing on the 80% of tasks or products that yield 20% of results, we can avoid unnecessary complexity and streamline our efforts toward what truly matters.

I encourage you to reflect on your journey.

How often do you prioritize efficiency, and what opportunities might you uncover by doing so?

Whether it's in your workflows, hobbies, or daily routines, embracing efficiency can lead to profound improvements and greater effectiveness for us all.

Until next time, keep hacking those processes and striving for peak efficiency!

Stay tuned for more insights and updates from the Foundry in next month's newsletter!
