This New ChatGPT Feature Changed Everything for Me

Mar 31, 2025 2:34 pm

When ChatGPT introduced “Projects,” I initially brushed it off. I assumed it was just a fancy way to organize chats—and I already had a system for that.

But then I actually used it.

And wow… it changed everything.

Here’s what I discovered: Projects aren’t just folders—they’re contextual brains.

You can upload files, give specific instructions, and create distinct “assistants” for different parts of your life or business.

I now have Projects set up for:

✅ Less Doing (with newsletter and marketing assistants)

✅ The CARES Committee

✅ The Rescue Squad

✅ My synagogue

✅ My health and wellness (this one blew me away)

Let me give you a couple examples:

📦 The Recipe Project

I was finding great recipes on Instagram and TikTok—mostly short-form captions or screenshots with no structured format.

So I made a Recipe Project, uploaded screenshots, and asked ChatGPT to turn them into clean, organized recipes.

Goal: A kid-friendly, healthy recipe list that’s fun to make.

Outcome: A curated set of go-to dishes like “Greek Yogurt Cookie Dough” that actually work.

💪 The Biohacking + Food Log Project

This one changed the game for me.

I uploaded my bloodwork, supplement list, and health goals (better energy, leaner body, hormone optimization at age 43).

Then I started a Food Log as a chat within that same project.

Here’s what it does:

🧠 Tracks hydration and protein

🧠 Recognizes cravings and suggests smart swaps

🧠 Notices patterns like food-related heartburn

🧠 Suggests meals based on what’s in my fridge

🧠 Pulls snack ideas from my saved recipes

At one point, it said:

“You’re low on protein today. For a snack, try that Greek Yogurt Cookie Dough you saved in your recipes.”

That blew my mind. It remembered a recipe from a completely different chat and brought it in at the exact right time.

Why This Matters

We’re not just talking about productivity anymore—we’re talking about true personal optimization.

This isn’t logging for the sake of logging. This is a dynamic system that:

  • Learns from your input
  • Connects dots across projects
  • Coaches you in real time

If you’re not using ChatGPT Projects yet, now is the time.

Start simple: make a “Food Log” or “Content Creator” project.

Upload relevant info. Ask good questions.

Then sit back and be amazed by what it can do.
