Hello everyone,

I'm thrilled to update you on our efforts to enhance the training experience at the Rescue Squad. Thanks to your invaluable feedback, we're implementing a solution that promises to revolutionize how we train our team: video training.

Initially, there was some resistance to video training due to the hands-on nature of our work. However, after reevaluating the challenges we face—namely logistical scheduling and training consistency—we're now embracing video as a powerful tool. Video training addresses these challenges effectively by providing a consistent training experience and alleviating scheduling conflicts.

We are now experimenting with video for the initial training sessions. This allows our team members to engage with the material at their own pace, reviewing as needed without the pressure of asking "stupid" questions. With videos, recruits can come better prepared for practice sessions, potentially reducing the number of required sessions by as much as two-thirds.

The move to video also ensures that every trainee receives the same foundational knowledge, which should enhance the overall quality of our training and provide a more uniform skill set among all members. This consistency is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our operations.
