I want to share something I’ve been experimenting with for a little while now, and today you get the very first look at it.

I’m calling it The Asynchronous Intelligence Podcast — and it’s exactly what it sounds like:

Long-form, meaningful conversations that happen entirely asynchronously.

No scheduling.

No studio.

No forced dialogue.

Just two people thinking deeply, taking their time, and responding when they have something worth saying.

The episode you’re about to hear is the inaugural one.

It’s a raw Carbon Voice message thread between me and Rick Smith, the founder and CEO of Axon International — the company behind tasers and police body cams.

Rick is one of the sharpest operational and founder-psychology thinkers I’ve ever met, and he and I have been going back and forth on some big ideas. Instead of turning it into a polished podcast, I decided to let you hear the conversation exactly as it unfolded.
