Noteworthy Auction -

On Sunday, 3/28, a 1st Edition Base Set Charizard sold for over $310,000 on eBay. Although this is a crazy amount of money, the price of a PSA 10 1st edition Charizard is actually decreasing. The last 2 auction prices were $400,000 on 3/7/2021 and $350,000 on 12/12/201.

Upcoming Release -

2020-21 Panini Prizm Basketball is being released tomorrow, 3/31. This is one to look out for as it is the most popular NBA card set every year. The trend of high prices for basketball card products continues as a Prizm Hobby Box is pre-selling for $2,200.

Hobby News -

PSA just announced that it is suspending grading submission until July 1st to catch up with their backlog. This is in response to receiving a surge of submission prior to their price increase on March 1st. I'm predicting the price of raw cards go up and that we'll be seeing more SGC and CGC slabs in the near future.
