Welcome to the Card Minnows Newsletter. Here's a list of the coolest things I've seen this week:

Recommended Product -

I recently bought two of the Pokemon First Partner Packs from eBay for a little less than $40. It's currently going for about $23 per pack on eBay and $30 on Amazon. If you are lucky enough to find it at a retail store, it's only $10.

Each pack comes with 3 oversized cards of the starter Pokemon in each region and 2 booster packs. I got the following boosters in my 2 packs:

• 1 Vivid Voltage
• 1 Battle Styles
• 2 Sun & Moon Base Set

Even with the mark up, these are great products. I think the oversized cards are going to make a great set, especially in the 25th anniversary binder.

Checking Card Prices -

I've been using Card Maven to check the latest prices for Pokemon and sports cards. This website collects the prices from the most recent sold eBay listings. It'll calculate the average price and give you an estimate on how much that card is worth. It's very handy when trying to find approximate card values.

It even sorts the list by sets and lets you search by card number. Here's an example of the list for Battle Styles. If I type in 159 and click on Cheryl, I find that the card is currently worth around $27.

Upcoming Digital Collectibles -

Tom Brady is launching a digital collectible platform based on NFTs called Autograph. It will not only be for sports fans, as the biggest names in entertainment, fashion, and pop culture will also be releasing their products on this platform. I'm wary of all things NFT but will keep an eye out to see which celebrities will be on Autograph.
