When the National Writing Project and I sat down with the intentions of making the most dynamic and impactful PD sessions on the market, we "thunked" about every single pain point that exists in the lives of secondary ELA teachers.
Here's what I've come to know:
✏️ ELA teachers are burnt to a crisp and leaving the profession in droves
✏️ Teachers across the nation are seeing rampant student disengagement and disinterest
✏️ Teachers are sacrificing a lot of evenings and weekends just to stay abreast
✏️ The old paradigm and ways of doing things simply aren't working anymore ... yet it doesn't seem like there are any thought-leaders thinking up a brilliant solution to get things back on a better track
✏️ ELA teachers, no matter their best effort, just aren't witnessing enough growth and maturation in their students
This is why NWP and I are beyond excited to be offering my Teach It "Write" 5-Week Mastermind.
Not only will we be offering concrete solutions to every single one of these pain points, but we are confident that when you are done with the Mastermind, you will unquestionably have a classroom of flourishing and engaged writers.
Our next session begins the evening of January 29th at 7 EST. For five consecutive weeks, we meet live in Zoom for one hour followed by Q&A.
During our time together, participants will take a deep dive into my Word Study Academy, Nuance Academy, Alternative Grading Strategies, plus delve into how my templates can be incorporated uniformly across the expository modes. We'll explore how to create classrooms of writers who not only cultivate their voice, rhythm, and flow - but we'll explore the best ways possible to get every student to think cogently on paper while mastering the basics plus all the rudimentary "stuff" needed to be a stellar writer.
In knowing that time has its constraints, we also created the Teach It "Write" Self-Paced Course.
We'd love to have you join us in what is going to be a super dynamic PD session.
Can't wait to see you inside ... Happy teaching and happy writing!
