The comment that made me hide my fave 👖

Hey 🖤
Can I tell you a story?
I went to a tiny high school.
Like… tiny tiny.
I graduated with 23 other people. And about 5 of them I had literally been in class with for 13 years.
You’d think being in a school that small would mean less social pressure.
It didn’t.
I remember this one day so clearly.
I had gotten a new pair of pants. They were denim with a plaid pattern on them. And before you laugh — I swear they were super cute 😂 At least I thought so.
I was excited about them.
So I wore them to school.
And I never wore them again.
Because one guy made a comment.
Honestly? I don’t even remember what the comment was anymore.
But I remember exactly how I felt.
Mortified.
Embarrassed.
Like suddenly everyone was looking at me and judging me.
And the crazy part?
The guy who made the comment was literally wearing a mismatched T-shirt and shorts 🙄
But his opinion still stuck.
Those pants disappeared into the bottom of my closet to never be seen again. out.
(not exact, but close - it was the early 2000s Judgey Judy!! 😂😂)

Here’s the thing most people don’t realize about social anxiety.
It’s not just about big, obvious moments.
Sometimes it’s one tiny comment.
One weird look.
One awkward interaction.
And suddenly your brain starts asking:
Did I sound weird?
Do people think I’m annoying?
Was that embarrassing?
Should I have said something different?
And before you know it, your brain is replaying things over and over.
According to the girls in this community, one of the biggest struggles is worrying about what other people think and feeling pressure to get everything just “right.”
If that sounds familiar…
You are not broken.
Your brain is just trying to protect you.
But the problem is… it ends up trapping you in your head instead.
And that’s exactly why I created something special for you.
On March 23rd at 7 PM CST, I’m hosting a FREE live training called:
The Social Anxiety Cheat Code
Inside the training, I’ll show you:
✨ What’s actually happening in your brain during social anxiety
✨ Why “just stop worrying about it” is terrible advice
✨ The 3-step Cheat Code you can use before walking into class, youth group, practice, or even before sending a text
Because the goal isn’t to become the loudest girl in the room.
The goal is to feel steady in your own skin.
To walk into a room without your brain running a thousand social calculations.
To stop letting one comment ruin your whole day.
And to finally feel the peace you’ve been praying for.
If that sounds like something you need, go ahead and grab your spot here:
👉 anxiouschristianteen.com/cheatcode
It’s totally free — camera is totally optional — and I would love to see you there.
And hey — if you’ve ever had a “plaid pants moment” like mine…
Just know you’re not alone 🫶
