It all starts in the Valley
His power shows up in the valley field,
If I open my eyes His glory is revealed
When my eyes open I can see Him shinning down
Bearing the cross is the only way to wear the crown
I must learn to look for glimpses of Him
His grace, His life, His joy are not so dim
Feeling trapped by mountainous trials at times
Need to know its ok to climb
Shake me and Break me and let me repent
Let not my evil sinful heart prevent
The growth you want in me
From the Valley let it come to be
Take my eyes off of me, only to Him should I gaze
To see His Mercy and grace in all His ways
In the midst of a trial to Him be the glory
Realizing He is writing my story
In that dark place He is ever so close,
The highs in life come from the lows
We have Kingdom work to do,
With His power for me and you
God will give us what we need
May we be ready to plant the seed
Our story is written, so let us be grown
And not let our hearts wander like they are prone
