Hi !
It's the fall! I've decreed it.
(Did it work?)
I spent my August working on a palate cleansing novella, but I decided to make it a challenge and write it as an epistolary. Which was so difficult! I tend to write in first person present tense and writing a post-action scene (where the main character is writing in her diary after the fact or a news article is recording what occurred) while keeping the tension up is new for me. But I think I've figured it out, and I can't wait to show it to you. (And the other fun short pieces I've been working on this year!)
LESS THAN 2 DAYS LEFT FOR TEARS IN SPACE KICKSTARTER!
Want a full, physical, copy of Tears in Space? Issue #1 of Tears in Space is a retro-inspired 22 page comic book fully illustrated in color and it's available on kickstarter! Inspired by Bronze-Age comics and fueled by a joy for experimentation in narrative imagery, each panel is a work of art! We've hit our goal on kickstarter, but if you were still considering pledging, please do so we can reach our first stretch goal (which includes a free item)! CLICK HERE!
(And if you missed the cute convention mini-comic, click here!)
FANGS AND FELONIES BOOK SIGNING
If you're near Oklahoma, I'll be joining 2 other mystery/suspense writers at Best of Books (in Edmond, OK) for their next Afternoon with Oklahoma Authors on September 7, 2024.
I'll be there talking about Fangs and Felonies!
Emily Lane, an ambitious attorney with an interest in vampire bites, must prove the innocence of vamp coven leader Lucian in a high stakes murder case. As she dives into the investigation, she uncovers a world where trust is as rare as a werewolf at a flea market. Can she clear Lucian's name without destroying her own?
If you're looking for your own ebook of FANGS AND FELONIES: FIND IT HERE!
And keep your eyes open, I should be announcing another local signing (September 28) for my fantasy romance books soon!
