Sales, signings, and surprises

Hi !

Happy August! I'm spending this weekend in Chicago for my brother's wedding and really enjoying revisiting all the spots found in Fangs and Felonies (which is set in Chicago).

In this email, you'll find the release information for A Kingdom to Remember, a book signing in Oklahoma for Fangs and Felonies, a fun SPFBO sale, a surprise Tears in Space mini comic, and then my section on book fairs/libraries.

A KINGDOM TO REMEMBER: OUT NOW

On Kindle, KU, and in print.

Inspired by Ice Planet Barbarians, this is my take on a medieval fantasy (in my style) focusing on the romance between Enna and Callum. A low stakes fantasy in a high stakes world.

When Callum, the disappointing second son of a warmonger king, and Enna, the amnesic general from a rival faction, embark on a quest to recover Enna’s lost memories, sparks fly and a powerful attraction ignites.

In this high-spice romantasy, their opposing desires and personalities clash—Callum’s inexperience versus Enna’s independence, his yearning for validation versus her instinct to take control.

Will one of them yield or will their fiery connection consume them both?

For this weekend only, a number of the SPFBO 10 entrants have put their ebooks up for sale or free!

You'll find the ebook of IF THE WALLS FALL there, for only .99c!

A romance junkie thrust into a kingdom in crisis. For Grace, a world of romance novels turns into a fantasy kingdom seeking their savior. Can she survive, prove she's not the chosen one, and keep her heart intact?

TEARS IN SPACE Mini-Comic

And if you're interested in a mini-comic, click here to find a short story of Cleo and Eileen getting thrown into another universe and inadvertently attending RINTHCON!

[RinthCon is a one-of-a-kind virtual conference, akin to Orson Welles' Radio show, but with a futuristic twist. Set in a fictional world 300 years ahead, this event is the brainchild of John Simons, the visionary behind Comicpalooza. RinthCon serves as a creative and collaborative platform, with stories, comics, and art from a variety of independent creators!]

Want a full, physical, copy of Tears in Space? Issue #1 of Tears in Space is a retro-inspired 22 page comic book fully illustrated in color and it's available on kickstarter! Inspired by Bronze-Age comics and fueled by a joy for experimentation in narrative imagery, each panel is a work of art! We've hit our goal on kickstarter, but if you were still considering pledging, please do so we can reach our first stretch goal (which includes a free item)! CLICK HERE!

FANGS AND FELONIES BOOK SIGNING

If you're near Oklahoma, I'll be joining 2 other mystery/suspense writers at Best of Books (in Edmond, OK) for their next Afternoon with Oklahoma Authors on September 7, 2024.

I'll be there talking about Fangs and Felonies!
