Lets talk about the Meta Verified program for businesses. Facebook recently announced this program- similar to the verified program they offered to creators last year, but this one is for business Facebook pages and Instagram accounts (each is a separate subscription).

Here's my take (this is based on my experience with Meta- not with this particular program):

Meta support access: As an advertiser, I have access to this but sometimes its tough to help my clients (hit and miss). With this subscription they claim that you will have support which should help incase you lose access to your business account.

Search Optimization: for plumbing/hvac/electrical I'm just not sure that the way this is set up will be a huge benefit for you yet. It's saying for exact matches you'll show up first. But with your business name- why wouldn't you show up first right now? Not seeing the benefit yet.

Enhanced Profile: Introducing your business to a new audience. This could be beneficial. We do this for a lot of our clients through ads targeting the zip codes they want to be in front of and spend $5-$20/day but it's not random accounts. This is a TBD on value for me right now.

Links in Reels: This could be beneficial. There are ways around this right now. And with plumbing/HVAC/electrical people typically message us when they have questions. Could be good for giveaways.

Account Reviews: I've had MANY "account reviews" from Meta ads specialists and they've never had any insider knowledge or marketing knowledge that I felt was worth paying for. Most of them seem to not have a ton of social media marketing knowledge but instead have an OK understanding of the Meta ads platform so they speak more to optimizing accounts in that way.

In conclusion:

Things are always worth testing. I'll probably test one to see if it makes any difference. But from how they're describing it- I'm not sure I see the value right now.
