I have been told I'm a pretty black-and-white person, so let me tell it how it is these next 2 weeks.

More people are posting on social and at the same time, fewer people are stuck at their desks scrolling. That combination means your engagement is likely to go down.

So here's my answer to whether or not you should have a well-thought-out strategy for posting through the holidays.

You could! If you feel like it, more power to you. Get after it, take my content prompts below and have fun!

At the same time, if you're feeling busy, overwhelmed, tired, burnt out or you're taking a vacation...let go of the guilt and just let it be.

These next 2 weeks won't make or break you. Pick it back up in January and enjoy the season.

Content ideas for 12/27-12/31

Write out your Reels plan!  Keeping up with all of the most trending sounds for short-form videos can be challenging.  It helps to keep a written list of sound and video ideas and an easy way to look back through saved audio clips that were saved while you were scrolling.  Keep a list of the name of the sound and the basic idea.  Then try to match it up with one of the video ideas below or create your own!

Mon 27- #VisitTheZooDay This can be a previous trip too!  The idea is to communicate fun and interest by pairing video clips with the right music and getting it out there with the right hashtags!

Tues 28-  Go back to the very beginning of your camera roll and try to match a random video clip from your past to one of the viral sounds you have taken note of.  Heading into a new year is a great time to share blasts from the past and nostalgic memories.  Compilation videos are viral right now!

Wed 29- #StillNeedToDoDay #TickTokDay Do you still need to get on TikTok?  Today is your day because both of these hashtags are catering to you!  Use a few Reels you have already created, and cross-post them onto TikTok to get started!

Thurs 30- Do you have any upcoming New Years' resolutions?  Maybe your family has a unique tradition you can share with others.  Share something special about the way you celebrate the holiday or a change you are planning to change for the better in the New Year to inspire your readers!

Fri 31- #MakeUpYourMindDay #HourOfPeaceDay Is there something getting left behind in 2021 that you need to make up your mind about?  Maybe organic paid social media for business?  I can help with that.  If you are happy with the way, 2021 ended up, celebrate with an Hour of Peace and enjoy!
