Hey ,

Can you believe it's already December! That means your content should/can be focused around holidays, holiday sales, end of year goals and lots of fun! This also means social media use is going to vary and you might see changes in engagement and engagement times. No worries! Keep showing up and having fun!

Social Media News you can Use:

Websites you need

There is so much AI (artificial intelligence) out there and we should all be taking advantage of it. When you haven't reached the point of hiring experts, bring in the AI platforms. Here are some of the most recent and amazing ones I've seen:

Copy.AI: This website helps you create copy for Email Subject Lines, Ad copy, and more. I've seen that it usually needs a bit of tweaking, but it's a great jumping off point.

Dollar Eighty: This is a Google Chrome app that helps you execute Gary V's $1.80 strategy. The theory is take the top 10 hashtags in your niche, comment on the top 9 accounts with your 2 cents. 2cents x 90 = $1.80. This is to help you grow your IG. It is a paid app but doesn't cost much.

Fontjoy: Generate font combinations to tighten up your branding. I don't like to think about things like this. So I prefer to use generator until I find what I like, then use that across the board.

Facebook is appealing to those who give back.

Facebook has created a resources for brands that care about giving back! They have recognized that the younger crowds (that they may have lost to other platforms) support about companies that care about something. If your company is one that supports a cause, this could be a useful resource of how to best utilize Facebook and Instagram for your brand.

YouTubes Top Videos of 2020

Guys...Friday is my birthday!! Just had to throw that in there. Do you love your birthday or do you just let it slide by?

Here are 5 ideas for content for next week (December 7th- December 11th)

Monday:

Just want to throw this out there. Consider doing a 12 days of Christmas. You can write the rules on when you start it as far as I'm concerned. I see people starting it 12/1. You could start it 12 days before Christmas or 12 work days before Christmas. It's technically the 12 days after Christmas.

But here's what to do. Come up with 12 tips or 12 items to sell. Then have fun!

Tuesday:

It's #nationalbrownieday. Would it make sense for your brand to share a recipe? Or maybe a tradition your family shares around brownie's and the holidays. Or your favorite local business to get a good brownie from. (And remember, if this day isn't relevant to your brand, NBD, move on to the next one!)

Wednesday:

Sales day: What are you selling?? Talk about your packages you offer, do a day in the life video, include a CTA like join my email list or message me to learn more. Remember, you're a business. Be sure to include days that you sell!

Thursday:

The first day of Hanukkah. Don't leave your Jewish community out of your content. There are many people who don't celebrate Christmas and would feel so special that you considered them in your content. If you're not sure what to do, do a bit of research on the holiday and how you can relate.

Friday:

Friday Five: Give your followers 5 facts about you, the business owner! It's a great opportunity to connect with your followers and get a lot of engagement. It could be 5 themed facts (like favorite holiday movies) or just 5 general facts about you!

Here are the Hashtag Holidays for you to create content and events around next week. That link will take you to a site that has them for the rest of the year if you want to go even further.

Hashtag Holidays:

  • December 7: #PearlHarborRemembranceDay
  • December 8: #NationalBrownieDay
  • December 10: First Day of Hanukkah
  • December 10: Human Rights Day (#HumanRightsDay)
  • December 11: #InternationalMountainDay
