I love my little Halloween girl! She's a slag glass (don't call her that!) lady I bought from @fishseddynyc in 2016. Made by Boyd's Glass, they only made 500 of each color and really tried to make her a collector's item with the sweet little tag and explaination. #slagglass #halloweendecor #halloweenvintage

This once said "Yes." Now it feels rather poetic. 1000 little tasks that ate away at the "Yes".

Just got word that my Uncle Leonard, 98-years-young, has passed on to join my Aunt Ginny and leaves behind Aunt Lois. Gawd, he was hysterical. SO sharp and always there with the joke and the punchline. He drove from Idaho to Texas to pick up my grandma and mom when my biological grandpa lost his mind and left, and served as a second dad to my mom. Her warmest memories of him are him coming in to tuck her in and kiss her on the forehead each night. He and Aunt Ginny were the first people at the hospital when my sister was born and we spent every Thanksgiving and Christmas at their house when we lived in San Francisco. He always served a mean Stouffers lasagna. He also holds the world record for the longest flight in WWII in either the western or European fronts. He served on Tinian with the 6th Bomb Group, the Circle R. There was a reunion we hosted a few years back for the surviving members, and a Pacific Islander woman was walking through the lobby. She suddenly came into the room, placed her hand on her heart and bowed. She then said that these men, specifically THESE MEN, had saved her family, who had been held in an extermination camp on Tinian. You done good, Uncle Leonard.

I don't think I shared my sister, @babyandgidgette, Candy Land themed birthday party! Sweet like her!
