♻️ publishing vs distributing

Hey friend!

Hitting publish on a new piece of content is a great feeling, isn't it?

But here’s the problem: while you (and your whole team) know what just went live, nobody else has a clue. It's easy to fall into the trap that once you hit publish, your job is done.

But hitting publish isn’t the finish line. It’s the beginning.

What good is a great piece of content if no one sees it? This is why distribution matters more than publishing.

New content isn't a differentiator anymore. Everyone is creating content.

What you need is a distribution plan.

A process you can repeat every time. And one that makes sure your audience actually sees what you worked so hard to create.

The real question isn’t, "What content should I make next?"

It should be: "How am I going to make sure people see what I just made?"

This small shift in thinking made a massive impact on my entire content strategy. And it can be for you too.

Instead of racing to push out more content, you’ll set yourself up to get more out of the content you already have.

  • More eyes
  • More engagement
  • More ROI

That’s why I stopped making "publish" the end goal and started focusing on how to distribute what I create consistently.

If you have a distribution plan, you’ll end up creating LESS content but seeing BETTER results.

So, the next time you’re about to hit publish, ask yourself:

What’s my plan to get this in front of my audience?

Once you’ve got that locked down, everything else becomes easier.

Have a great week!
