“You don’t rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” — James Clear
You ever have one of those weeks where Monday morning looks promising… and then by Thursday, everything you planned on getting done is still on your list?
Yeah. Same.
And when that happens, what’s the first thing to fall apart? Your distribution.
You don't send that email. You don't write those social posts. You don't record that video.
One hectic week can tank your entire distribution strategy.
And that’s why I stopped chasing the “perfect” distribution system.
I built a Content Floor instead.
It’s simple:
- Pick 1–2 core channels. The ones that move the needle.
- Set weekly minimums. What’s the smallest set of actions you can always hit? Even when you're slammed.
- Tie it to your flywheel. Let your core pieces feed the others.
- Stockpile evergreen content. Mine your archives for content you can quickly remix.
A solid content floor helps you keep the lights on at your busiest and gives you a solid foundation to build on in the future.
Hope you have a great week!
Justin
