♻️ slow channels = faster results? here’s the catch

Hey friend!
Not all marketing channels work at the same speed. Some are designed to deliver fast results, and others need to build momentum over time.
The key is to know when to use each one.
And Casey Hill gave me his exact mix to make it work. (click that link to go straight to it)
Fast vs slow channels
Fast Channels
These channels focus on immediate impact. You can drive quick traffic, leads, or sales, but as soon as the money stops flowing, so does the traffic.
Think of things like:
- Google Ads
- Social media ads (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Sponsoring events or podcasts
Slow Channels
These take time but offer you sustainable growth. They build trust and authority over time with consistent effort. And once these channels gain traction, they can drive organic traffic and engagement without constant spending.
Think of things like:
- SEO (blogs, evergreen content)
- YouTube
- Newsletters and email marketing
- Organic social media (posts, community engagement)
Fast channels are great for testing ideas and generating quick wins, while slow channels create lasting value.
But the real power comes from using both together to maximize your results.
Start with fast channels for immediate wins
Fast channels deliver fast results. If you need instant impact to test ideas, generate leads, boost sales, or show results focus your distribution efforts here.
If your company needs immediate product sales you'll want to focus on those fast channels. Then you can reinvest that revenue into long-term content efforts like content and email.
But build your foundation with slow channels
Slow channels create sustainable, trust-driven growth. Think of them as your long game.
How to do it:
- Create a Core content pillar: Plan out blog posts, videos, podcasts, or webinars.
- Level up your email marketing: Write newsletters that share that core content and provide value (not just sales pitches).
- Engage regularly with your audience and let feedback shape your strategy.
You don’t have to choose between fast and slow channels. By blending them, you can:
- Drive immediate revenue through fast campaigns.
- Build lasting engagement through consistent, value-driven slow efforts.
- And strengthen your overall marketing system to keep your content top-of-mind.
Where so many marketers fail is mixing the right channels with the wrong expectations.
The more clarity you have around why you're using any channel, the better results you'll have.
