In 2026, I’ve gotten 2-3 speaking requests a day.
Here’s exactly how we got here:
2 years ago,
When I started in this industry,
I had no idea where to begin.
“What should my website look like?”
“Who do I reach out to?”
“What is a bureau?!”
Confused would be an understatement.
But I did have one thing:
The willingness to go beyond where most people quit.
Something I learned from being in the EDU speaking space.
100’s of no’s.
Constant rejection.
See, I had figured something out:
Things often come together right after the moment you feel like giving up.
If you can push past that point,
The results will be extraordinary.
So, I applied that same logic to this new endeavour.
And never looked back.
Is there still a long way to go?
Absolutely.
But am I amazed at what has come together in 2 years?
1000%.
With that said, here’s what I’d recommend to anyone looking to level up in this space:
1. Respond FAST (5 min)
2. Deliver your keynote daily.
3. Obsess about your assets.
4. Be a friend to the audience.
5. Don’t be a diva. It isn’t about you.
6. Spend more time on being entertaining.
7. If you have a good time, so will the audience.
8. Go above and beyond on every client/ bureau request.
9. Study your topic as if you were going to have an exam.
10. Think about how your content will grow a client’s business.
11. Try new content constantly. This is a process of refinement.
12. Treat the audience, A/V, client, everyone involved like a FRIEND.
13. Stop comparing yourself to other speakers. Magic Johnson charges six-figures to speak. You can’t dunk. And that’s okay.
If you bring this level of commitment to every single day,
Real momentum is inevitable.
