Starting a business 'seems' like a good idea.
You can...
Be your own boss.
Set your own schedule.
Make a lot of money.
And travel the world... in a private jet.
At the beginning, this is EXACTLY what it looks like (can you sense my sarcasm?)
What it really looks like?
Massive uncertainty.
Trading a 9-5 for a 24/7.
Struggling to break through.
When I started my first company, I had a vision of what it would be like.
I visualized all of the incredible opportunities, amazing people and high-flying lifestyle it would great.
The only problem?
I didn't anticipate.
I only expected the best, I didn't prepare for it all.
Over that time, 4 lessons really stood out to me and changed my life in more ways than I could have ever imagined.
These are the 4 biggest lessons:
▶️ FAILURE DOES NOT EQUAL YOUR FUTURE
When people fail, they typically equate it with not being enough. Which impacts the action they take moving forward. Failure does not change your future, you do.
▶️ WHO NOT HOW
We are asking the wrong question. Instead of asking 'how do I do this?', ask 'who already has the answer to this puzzle?'. You'd be amazed at the wealth of knowledge you can tap into.
▶️ ENERGY IS EVERYTHING
Your energy will make or break your ability to keep moving forward. If you're feeling discouraged, generate energy and tap back into your life.
▶️ VISUALIZE THE WORK
Don't visualize the win, visualize the WORK. Visualize you do the hard things you know will produce results. So that when you go to take action, it isn't a surprise.
You were made to break through failure. You have the ability to level up who you are by pushing past discomfort and setting a new standard.
Believe that you are enough to handle it.
Soon enough, you will be.
