Most people think about growth backwards.
And it’s actually hurting their goals.
I always thought that growth happened when:
- You PUSH yourself
- Set bigger goals
- You GRIND
So of course…
That’s what I tried to do.
I’d go HARD trying to ‘be a high-achiever’
And sometimes…
It worked!
But then?
I’d fall off completely.
In an instant.
Drained.
Defeated.
In fact, I was worse off.
With whoever I was.
With my motivation.
With my desire.
Why?
Because it was never enough.
I wanted more.
All the growth did was create a feeling of ‘I’m not there.’
I had it backwards.
Growth doesn’t come from INTENSITY.
If you’ve ever achieved something and thought:
“Wow, I’m exhausted.”
Then you know what I’m talking about.
Growth actually comes from”
- Consistency
- Incremental progress
- Determination (Never giving up)
So I need you to do me a BIG favour:
Stop focusing on:
—> Pushing yourself
—> Setting crazy goals
—> Grinding
It won’t lead to consistent growth.
Or confidence.
High-achievers reverse engineer their growth.
They focus on:
1 - Relentless Consistency
2 - The 1% changes
3 - Never giving up
Be the kind of person that finds growth in:
The daily progress.
The journey of growth.
The work you do every single day.
When you do, the growth you experience will be exponential.
What are the ways you are growing right now?
