Happy New Year!

What a year we've had! My kids are finally going back to in-person school over the next two weeks, and maybe I can get writing again. I have a new series that I've been working on for months and months, and I'm only on chapter 2!

I REALLY want to tell you all about it (hint: it's urban fantasy/sweet paranormal romance) BUT I don't want to jinx myself by revealing things before I'm ready.

Right now, I wanted to let you know about my new release today and an update about my transition away from being exclusive to Amazon.

Just a few updates:

You might have already read this entire series in the "Magic Underground" Anthologies, but if not, now is your time to catch up with Ettie and Roman.

At the very least, make sure you download the pilot episode. It's FREE!

(And the first novella released today at 99 cents and is in Kindle Unlimited. Episode 2 will come out in a few weeks and Episode 3 in the first week of March. Find out where to grab the series HERE.)

Here's the blurb for the series:

When Ettie agreed to become a mail-order witch and travel across the country to marry a man she never met, she expected a few bumps along the way as they got to know each other.

What she never expected was the prejudiced town she moved to.

The citizens of Watersedge don’t have much experience with magical practitioners and struggle to find where Ettie fits into their community.

When nobody will hire her, she takes matters into her own hands and opens a magic shop…a place where she can get to know the people who live in this town and teach them about witches and magic.

But the problem is someone is out to get her shop shut down with one problem after another. Episode 1 starts when all the second graders begin turning into fox, Episode 2 has a rodent infestation, and Episode 3 Ettie struggles with getting inventory for her store.

Can Ettie and her new husband, Roman, figure out who is sabotaging her shop before Ettie’s Enchanted Effects goes out of business?

And in the process, will these newlyweds grow closer or have some trouble of their own?

You won’t want to miss this fun paranormal cozy mystery series because it has everything you want to read about: magic gone wrong, do-good witches, and an unsolved mystery.

Book Availability Update:

Well...I don't sell many books. I've written 30 of them so far, so I'm doubting they're going to magically "take off" at this point. I thought publishing the books outside Amazon might help with their visibility, but as of right now, I'm not getting much traction. I plan on coordinating some advertising in the next few months, but in the mean time, I'm holding off on publishing my other series outside of Amazon. (Earth's Only Hope, Paranormal Bed & Breakfast, Dream Droids, and Mail-Order Witch are currently still exclusive to Amazon.)

Here are what series are available outside of Amazon on Apple, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Google, and other platforms.

Angels of Sojourn Series: This entire series is now available on Apple, Kobo, Nook, and other platforms, in addition to Amazon. "Broken & Burnt" should still be FREE on all platforms except Amazon. Find links here: www.joynellschultz.com/angels

  • Book 1: Trying (and failing) to earn her wings for over a hundred years, Ava is given one last chance. Angels are being murdered and Ava must find the killer before she becomes the next victim.

Quarter Witch Chronicles: This entire series, except the spin-off "The Dragon You Know" is live on all platforms. Learn more here: www.joynellschultz.com/dragon

  • Coming-of-age has a completely different meaning for a witch! A romantic urban fantasy with a lovable pet dragon who crashes college classes.

Superhero Wives/Married to a Superhero: Both books are "Wide" on Google, Apple, Nook, Kobo, etc. Links here: www.joynellschultz.com/superherowives

  • Blood soaked cape? Laundry has never been so challenging. Welcome to the life of a superhero wife. You’ll love this romantic cozy mystery because it’s an untold perspective.

Tales of the Fairy Godmothers: Both books are "Wide." "Trapped" should be FREE on Apple, B&N, Nook, and a few other platforms. (Just not Amazon at this time.) Links here: www.joynellschultz.com/fairygodmothers

  • Book 1: Magically pregnant in a dream from a human? Impossible. Ciera must give the baby to the father before the fairy council finds out her secret.

Love, Lies & Clones: Available pretty much everywhere. Links: www.joynellschultz.com/llc

  • For thirty years, June's harbored a secret. Now, her father’s missing and the information she protects with my life may cost him his. Her only hope may be trusting a stubborn, AWOL soldier who refuses to leave her side.

Take care,

--Joy

P.S.

Instead of writing, I've been spending a lot of time hiking/walking, trying to get back into shape. Wow. Writing over the past 4 years has added about 50 pounds on my frame. Here area few photos of a few places I've been over the past 3 months. I feel so much better getting a daily dose of Vitamin D...even in winter.
