Wow.

It's August!

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. This summer has FLOWN by!

When I was younger, I couldn't wait to grow up. Even in my 20's and early 30's, I couldn't wait for time to pass. When we pay off the mortgage...when we don't need to buy diapers anymore...when we can retire.

Well, now that I'm older and wiser, (Ha! Only 41,) I find myself finally wanting time to slow down, but it moves faster than ever. I only have two years until my kids are out of the house and my hubby and I become empty-nesters.

How did it happen that now I wish I could go back and savor some of the small things?

Like family game night.

Like helping the kids learn how to ride their bikes or read.

Even going back further to my college years so I could really absorb the education that I was paying for.

Well, here we go. School is right around the corner, and I have one child graduating high school in November and the other will be done in only two short years. For all of you younger than me, savor your time now. For all of you older than me, well, I imagine things never slow down, right?

Because of my desire to savor time, I haven't done much writing. (I'm hoping nobody complains about that--even if it does take a bit longer for me to get a book out.) But I do still have a few exciting things coming up.

First, I promised you a cover reveal, and a cover reveal you shall get.

Or four of them. ;-) I know. I'm an overachiever. I can't help it.

I'm just cleaning up/wrapping up my series so I can start something new.

(The below isn't supposed to appear SPAMY, so I apologize if it comes across that way. I just included the price and links due to previous requests from readers on my newsletter.)

First, I have the final installment of my Dream Droids World: Hitched on Halloween. This book is up for pre-order with a release date of August 27th. Timelines are tight, so I hope I don't have to push it back a week or two, but it might happen. The book is a longer novella (nearly a novel length) and is priced at $2.99. It'll also be available in Kindle Unlimited once it releases. If you haven't read all the other books in the series, keep scrolling down for another option on how to grab this story and get caught up on the Dream Droids world. (Note: For all of you on my Advanced Reader Team, I should get you a copy of this book next week...if I can get my final edits done today and send to my editor. Hopefully, she can get me a clean copy back by then.)

My Dream Droids series is probably one of my lowest read series, and I think that's too bad because I really love these characters. To make it easy for readers to dive into the entire series, I created a box set that will release on October 22nd that's cheaper than purchasing all the individual books. (It's currently priced at $5.99, but will increase to $6.99 or $7.99 once it's released. It'll also be available in Kindle Unlimited.)

Here's the box set cover! This set includes all four Dream Droids novellas in the series. (Built for a Billionaire, Created for Christmas, Validated on Valentine's, and Hitched on Halloween.)

Doesn't that series look like a lot of fun??? Unfortunately, Aiden and Danika from Built for a Billionaire aren't represented in the cover even though they're in book 1 and book 4, but I wanted to showcase the triplet sisters and downgrade the humanoid/robot connection, as it's more of a fun chick lit cozy mystery type of series instead of sci-fi, even though there are sci-fi elements.

And here is the reveal of the beautiful cover for the Earth's Only Hope Box Set that will release November 23rd. This includes all 4 novels. (Connecting, Departing, Surviving, and Returning.) This series turned out to be more space opera than apocalyptic, so I went a different direction on the box set cover. Hopefully, it's an accurate enough depiction of the series of novels. This is priced at $9.99 and is great for Kindle Unlimited readers who only want to use one of their download credits for all 4 books or for readers who want to purchase all four books. (Individually, the collection would cost $16.96.)

And a new release this month...kind of...and a cover reveal...kind of. This collection of anthologies just published July 31st. It's a nice way to read the entire series. Inside the Magic Underground Anthology, I have my Mail-Order Witch series (The complete first season.) This is definitely a nice package if you have Kindle Unlimited and wanted to binge all of the stories without hoping between books. Note: For those of you who purchase books individually, this box set's price is more expensive than buying each book individually. (I have no control over the pricing and am not sure why the set went that route.)

And, I have to apologize.

Last month, I had opened with a quote: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results," and I attributed this to Albert Einstein. Well, I had a few of you email me saying I was incorrect. I understand we really don't know exactly who said that quote first. If you would like all the history, you can google it or take a look at this article. Sorry for the misinformation, but it's still a good quote that brings me into check from time to time.

A bit of news...especially important for readers who use Kindle Unlimited or those on Apple, Kobo, Nook, Google devices. I'm working on transitioning some of my books away from Kindle Unlimited and to other platforms. As of August 25th, The Secret Lives of Superhero Wives will no longer be available in Kindle Unlimited. Sometime after that, it'll be published on the other platforms. If you have Kindle Unlimited and would still like to read this story, make sure you download it by August 25th. You'll have however long you need to read it, as long as you checked it out through Kindle Unlimited.

Also, somewhat related. You can grab The Superhero's Husband for the next few days for FREE on Amazon.

Anyway...more to come next month...and, like always, I'll send you another email when my newest release, Hitched on Halloween, hits the shelves later this month (hopefully!)

Thanks so much & I hope you're doing great.

P.S. I'm cutting down the number of promotions I'm in, so I only have two for you today, and they're both contests. Just because you're on my newsletter, you would get an entry for the first contest, so that one is pretty easy. :-) The second contest has a "free" spot that you can enter with just a click. Another easy entry. Enjoy!
