I'm so blessed that Mother's Day is a joyous occasion but I also know that for others it's complicated. I hold that in my heart. The day I discovered that our DNA holds pieces of all the mothers that came before us my vision of motherhood widened. Grounded me.

It's not about the day, it's about all the days that brought us here. All the mothers we never met. Today I hope you will be able to find a moment for yourself. Show up. Mother yourself.
