But I have ambitious goals for the year!
Happy New Year! Hope it brings you joy and success.
Here's a quick poll to see how we approached a new year.
In November, I listed the books and novellas planned for my fiscal year (November 2021 – October 2022). But there are many other goals.
Here are some of my other goals for the year:
Plan the next series before I start. So I will know the characters, theme and plot ideas for each book. Then, when my current book is with my editor or proofreaders for several weeks, I can start the next one. I need to take better advantage of those weeks.
It will be fun to see if I'm on track (or how far I'm off track) by June!
And I am learning all I can about two things:
- Putting Those Hawthorne Men and the novella ebooks in two box sets. And where to sell them since Amazon puts a limit on what can be charged.
- Learning about taking my books out of Kindle Unlimited and sell on several vendor platforms. Start with one or two besides Amazon (but not In KU) or try them all at once?
- Some authors are having success with Amazon's Kindle Vella serials. I've decided to rework some of my old teen romances. I think three of my books have themes and plots that can be updated. Once a serial is done, I can publish the story as an ebook with a few revisions because of the different formats.
In February, I will release the last novella for Those Hawthorne Men. Happy Holiday, Julianne. Her difficult husband almost ruins the holidays.
To understand the couple better, you can read the prequel now. Falling in Love, Julianne. The holiday story will make more sense if you know how they got together.
