And life gets complicated.
Norman turns three on November 23. He sleeps under my desk most of the time. My husband's office is downstairs. And when it gets chilly, he turns on the gas fireplace. That is when Norman deserts me to sleep in his bed by the heat. This is his picture enjoying his football shaped treat last year.
As we get closer to the holidays, I add family projects to my schedule. And continue to write every day, if possible. Here is what complicates my plans.
• Finding out what the families out-of-town need and get their gifts mailed in a timely fashion.
• I still love doing holiday cards, so I will check my list to make sure the addresses are up to date. And check if need more cards or stamps.
• Find out who is coming over for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Christmas day and plan meals.
Right now, I'm stressing about the holiday book being ready to publish in December. Who do I contact to add a week to December? It looks like I need to start the second one in June next year.
