So, I did a thing… and you can grab it for free

Hey there,

Because, you know, I have so much free time (cue the laughter of every woman balancing work, caregiving, and a side hustle), I decided to join this five-day challenge hosted by Ruth PoundWhite. The goal? Create a freebie in five days. And if you submitted it, she’d feature it in front of her 6,000 email subscribers.

Sounds simple, right?

Well, by midweek, I was this close to quitting. I had all the classic excuses lined up—too much going on, not enough time, who’s even going to care? But then I reminded myself: One small shift at a time. So, I pulled something together, hit submit, and—boom—it got featured.

So, what did I create? A Spring Awakening Journal.

I like to call this seasonal shift the deep thaw. You know that feeling when you come inside from the cold, and your frozen hands start to burn as they warm up? That’s spring. It wakes us up, stretches us out, and sometimes, we’re a little grumpy about it.

We’re shedding layers—physically, mentally, emotionally. The birds are louder, the world is budding, and suddenly, life feels big again.

This journal is your space to process all of that. A gentle, thoughtful check-in as we move from the cozy stillness of winter into the vibrancy of spring.

And guess what? It’s free. Along with a bunch of other beautiful resources created by people who also pushed through their own “I don’t have time for this” moments.

Here’s the link to check it out: Spring Awakening Journal

Take a peek, grab whatever resonates with you, and if you download mine, let me know what you think.

Wishing you a weekend of slow sips, deep exhales, and maybe a little space to thaw.

Your Girl,

Its Angie Clay
