Invitation To Hangout!

Feb 27, 2025 3:58 pm

Hey there,

Thursdays always feel like a good email day. Maybe it’s because we’re at that point in the week where we just need a little nudge, a reminder that we’re still in it, still moving, still tending to the things that matter.

So, here’s my nudge for you: I’m hosting a free journaling session this Saturday morning. Just an hour. Just a moment to exhale, put pen to paper, and be in community. It’s online, so you can show up in your pajamas, coffee in hand, eyes still adjusting to the morning light.

The details:

🗓 Saturday

⏰ 7 a.m. PST | 10 a.m. EST | 2 p.m. UK time

📍 Online (grab the link here)

This isn’t a big, polished event—it’s just me, you, and a few others, showing up to write, reflect, and connect. If you’re someone who keeps meaning to journal but never quite gets there, this is your gentle invitation.

Also, a little life update: I’ve kicked off a 100-day challenge over on Substack, where I go live every day talking about burnout, midlife, and whatever else is rattling around in my head. I’m pushing myself to be seen, to speak, to step into the role I’ve always known was mine—facilitating expressive arts classes, leading workshops, helping people tap into their creative well.

This became crystal clear after attending the Tree of Healing event in Spokane. I sat in a journaling class led by a woman doing exactly what I want to be doing. And I thought, Why am I not already doing this? I spent two years leading these kinds of sessions on Clubhouse. I know how to hold space. I know the power of words, of storytelling, of creative reflection. And yet, I’ve been waiting. For what? Permission? The right time? A neon sign from the sky?

No more waiting.

So, if you’re in a season of wondering Is it too late to start?—whether it’s a new career, a business, a dream you’ve been tucking away for ‘someday’—I hope you’ll check out today’s Substack post. Midlife isn’t a winding down. It’s a reblooming. Let’s talk about that.

If you want to be part of these conversations, jump over to my Substack link here.

See you soon—maybe in the journaling session, maybe in your inbox, maybe in the quiet space where you finally decide to start.

Take care,

Angie
