Chasing Image; How to Stop Seeking Validation From Others

Feb 09, 2022 11:16 am

What do we possibly have to gain from chasing an image that is pleasing to other people?

In today's world of likes, comments, follows, and other forms of false validation, it's easy to get caught up in chasing a certain image set for us by others.

We find ourselves unhappy and overwhelmed by the need to be validated by others and to just fit in. But, what if it doesn't have to be that way??

What if we could just be happy in our own skin and appreciate ourselves for who we really are?

In my latest article, we dive #intotheuncomfortable by exploring this topic and digging deeper into how flipping our perception of ourselves can help us in overcoming the need for validation from others. As always, there is a journal prompt located at the bottom of the article to help you apply the reading to your daily life.

It will only take five minutes of your day, so the next time you go to open up Instagram, please consider giving this a read instead. :)

Either way, I appreciate you! Thoughts & feedback are always welcome too.
