Welcome to the December 7th edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.

The Story of My Week.
We are doing a 7-day fast at my church.
Fasting is not a biggie for me.
I know most people expect something out of the ordinary to happen as a result of fasting.
I don’t.
And I also do.
I don’t expect anything out of the ordinary to happen around me because I fasted.
I expect a lot of out-of-the-ordinary things to happen through me because I fasted.
Why?
Because fasting works first in me, so that God can work through me.
And what God works through me is supernatural.
I expect the supernatural at play in me.
Through me.
And for the benefit of those around me.
For the glory of God’s eternal fame.
Things I Learnt
1-Feedback, not Refusal: I pitched a proposal to a major bank during the week. They said “No”
And I loved it.
Why?
Because of the speed at which they said “No”
I made the offer simple enough so that they could make a quick decision.
It’s better to have a quick “No” than to spend a long time in meetings and hoping for something that will not happen.
One meeting and we knew this was something that could not go forward.
But the meeting was still a success for me. The success was the feedback I got from their “No”
Feedback that I will incorporate into my next sales pitch.
So that I can get a “Yes”
2-Courage to Step Out: I have been getting different ideas from my time with God. One thing I am committing myself to do is - Step Out in Courage.
And that is what I started doing more of during the week.
I did a few reach-outs to individuals that I had been on the fence about regarding my practice.
And I am committing to do more.
Interesting, someone else reached out to me on possible ways to expand my reach and impact. A surprise one this was, I will watch and see how it evolves.
The important thing is to step out in courage for me.
And that is what I will be doing every day.
In courage and trust.
Postscript
May you live every day in courage & trust. Amen
