Faith & Life Lessons | When God is Powerful in You

image

Welcome to the February 15th edition of Faith & Life Lessons.

You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.

The Story of My Week.

In the day of His Power, the people will be willing.

This is a text of scripture that I mulled over the week.

Why?

First, this is the season I am living in. The season of God’s supernatural power is more at play in my everyday life.

Second, this is the foundation of the first teaching I’ll be doing.

This year, I am raising the platform higher for my practice and faith ministry.

My faith ministry will include monthly teachings. I have already planned out the 12 months. I’ll be doing 2 teachings in March to make up for the teaching that didn’t kick off in January.

I am committed to doing this last Saturday of every month - starting in February.

In the day of His Power, the people will be willing.

God’s power never changes, but “we”, we change.

The more willing we become, the more space we give God’s power to work in us.

This is what we should all live for in this season.

Become more willing to carry God’s power.

In the day of His Power, the people will be willing.

Things I Learnt

1-Never Let Others Own My Experience: For my birthday, the teams I oversee bought my wife and me a gift voucher for a massage.

That was very thoughtful of them.

My wife & I booked our appointment and showed up at the place. Everything was going well until we started our session.

Their music playlist was so off for a message. Not the usual calming music that comes with a message.

After asking them to notify the person who was controlling it centrally to make adjustments, I realised that the person probably can’t do any better.

But I was not going to let this spoil the whole massage experience for me.

I asked them to help retrieve my phone from where we had kept our things. Once I got my phone, I just went for the right music on YouTube.

This was what I played throughout the session. No way I was going to let them mess up a good gift from my team.

One thing impressed me as we were leaving the massage place. The lady at the reception asked me to share the playlist with her.

I obliged her, and she sent a message to say they would update their playlist accordingly.

Very proactive of her. That’s the kind of person to have in a business.

2-When God is Leading Differently: At the beginning of the year, I came up with a goal that was off-base for me.

I told my wife that much about it. In my perception, it could only have come from God.

Fast forward to this week, during my paid mastermind meeting, our conversation went in a direction that aligned with the earlier off-base goal.

Now it’s no longer off-base.

I am reminded that God leads in unique ways and stirs our hearts in ways we may not have thought.

He is God, and He is at work…even behind the scenes.

Postscript

May your heart be sensitive to the quiet promptings that God is stirring in your heart. Amen
