Welcome to the April 12th edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.
The Story of My Week.
How do you live up to something God has spoken every day?
By taking it every day - doing what’s in front of me.
And doing it well.
Beyond that.
It’s also by responding to every prompting that God is stirring.
I was doing a lot of that during this week.
The interesting thing is the response I got from the people I sent these promptings to.
They responded positively, and it almost felt like what I sent was the next step for them.
Now we are possibly going to be working together on a few things.
I want to hold myself accountable for taking action and not just watching things go on.
Or ignoring the promptings that God is giving.
I hope you are also taking action on your God-promptings.
Things I Learned
1-Navigating Workplace Fights: There is a spiritual side to the workplace. Knowing that is the discernment needed every day.
I had one of those during the week.
Instead of fighting for what I deserve, I let the fight go.
The goal is not to win in the workplace. The goal is to live the life that honours God.
And make sacrifices that live up to that.
Everything else is just prose.
2-Everything is Taken Care of: This is the comfort I received during the week.
No, because things changed, but because I got assurance that they will change.
That assurance is the encouragement for now for me.
This is not psychological comfort. This is something more.
I see miracles at play.
I am going to become more and achieve more.
God is at work in me.
