3-Point Thursday #368

Sep 12, 2024 5:09 pm

Hey,

I'm writing from a coffee shop in central London, covered in paint as the Clapham Common re-fresh continues! The weather has not been kind, and delayed things a bit, but it's almost there and looking great.

This week's 3-pointer:

🐝 Manchester reveals new brand identity

'Manchester Basketball' as the club will go by, have revealed their new look ahead of the SLB season. Feels like we've got rebrands happening left, right and centre at the moment (Oaklands also released theirs yesterday), though of course, Manchester is technically not a rebrand with it being a new franchise.

🏖 Brighton Beach Court 👀

Spent the day down in Brighton yesterday on a site visit and meeting the council as the Hoopsfix Foundation is preparing for its second court renovation working alongside the council with the work due to start next month. Having grown up in Eastbourne, Brighton beach court was legendary back in the day and remains one of the most iconic courts in the country - looking forward to help restore it back to its former glory and run an event or two down there next summer!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 NBL season is upon us!

Where does the time go? The NBL season tips off this weekend with the KitKing Trophy - get down to a game and check out your local club!

That wraps up another drop, as always hit reply with any thoughts, questions or anything else!

With gratitude,

Sam
