3 Uses for AI in Your Business

Hey there,
It's been a while since I sent you an email but that's because I've been finishing up the new book, PEERtainment, and experimenting with every AI that I could get my hands on to become an AI Whisperer!
HERE ARE 3 USES FOR AI IN YOUR BUSINESS
(even if ChatGPT is busy)
Number 1 - Make a Social Media Post in Seconds
Everyone and their dog has gone to the Internet to tell you NOT to use AI to write your social media posts because other people want to hear from you and not a machine. Which is true... BUT, I've tested it extensively and if you prompt the AI with what you want and then edit it as needed, no one can tell the difference, and there is no harm in using a tool to save time.
I don't care if the screw in the board was hand-screwed or drilled in... As long as the screw holds the board to the other board.
For example, if I was going to write a post about using AI Chat, I could write something like this:
Hey folks, did you know that AI chat can help you save time? AI chatbots are capable of understanding natural language, allowing you to get answers to your questions pretty quickly and efficiently. With AI chat you can get the information you need, when you need it, without wasting time.
#AIChat #TimeSaver
What if I told you an AI wrote that and I only changed 4 words?
Number 2 - Using Contextual Prompts
First off, if ChatGPT is busy, which it almost always is, you can use an alternative. You.com is a search engine made by some of the folks from Salesforce. It has a function called "chat" which is an AI with a natural language model very similar to ChatGPT.
At this point, most people know you can get an AI to write something for you. If you haven't tried it, you need to and it will only take 30 seconds.
Contextual means the AI knows what you just asked it to write and it also knows what it responded with. So you can have it edit its own responses for you.
If we used the example above where I had an AI write a social media post for me, what if I decided it would be better if I talked about Opportunity Cost. I could rewrite it something like this:
Hey folks, did you know that AI chat can help you save time and money? Opportunity cost is the cost of not doing something else with your time and resources. AI chatbots are capable of understanding natural language, allowing you to get answers to your questions quickly and efficiently, saving you both time and money. With AI chat you can get the information you need, when you need it, without sacrificing your opportunities to pursue other options.
#AIChat #TimeSaver #OpportunityCost
Well, again, I didn't rewrite it. I had the AI chatbot do it. Then I edited those same 4 words again...
You could ask it to add emotion, change a topic, make it longer, summarize it, etc. Talk to the AI like you would talk to an editor, but remove any flowery or vague langue. Ask it to do things specifically.
Number 3 - Collect Data and Turn It Into a Chart
Sometimes I need more data to make marketing decisions. But most AI right now isn't very accurate when it comes to reporting data. However, you can double-check the data and still save a lot of time.
Here I have discovered 10 FAQ entries I should use for an HVAC company website that has the least competition. Also, they would make great videos or social media posts.
You could ask the AI to write each FAQ for you because it's contextual... "can you please write an FAQ entry for each of these topics?"
So I did ask it that, and this is the first of the entries...
Q: What are the different types of ventilation systems?
A: Ventilation systems come in many different forms, including natural ventilation, mechanical ventilation, and hybrid ventilation systems. Natural ventilation systems use openings in the building to take in outside air and expel stale air. Mechanical ventilation systems use fans and ducts to circulate air, while hybrid ventilation systems are a combination of the two.
BONUS TIP
Talking about charts, I think most people have struggled to get a spreadsheet to massage the data in the way that they needed. Ask your AI to do it for you!
Maybe you want to export your customer data and see who spends over $1000? if the sales data was in Excel in column C?
You can use the following formula in an Excel spreadsheet to highlight cells in column C that are over 1000: =IF(C1>1000, TRUE, FALSE)
This formula will return TRUE if the value in column C is over 1000, and FALSE if it is not. You can then use this formula to create a conditional formatting rule that will highlight these cells.
What if you want to check for all the duplicates in two columns of a Google sheet?
You can use the following formula to find all the duplicates in two columns of a Google Sheet: =COUNTIF(range1, range2)>1
Where "range1" is the first column you want to compare, and "range2" is the second column. This formula will return the number of duplicates in the two columns.
It's not perfect, but you could ask it to refine the formula for what you need, because it's contextual!
That's all folks.
