Hi everyone,
Here is an invitation to help assist in the LA Fire situation from IHAN.
Thank you. LPH, CCH, and RSHom(NA) are welcome.
From Jenny:
We are planning to deploy from Northern California next Friday, 1/17, with a clinic set up at either a firefighter base camp or an evacuation shelter. We will confirm the location and provide more details as soon as it is finalized.
If you haven’t already, please register as a volunteer here: IHAN Volunteer Registration.
Important Information for Practitioner Volunteers:
- Volunteers must hold a license or certification in their modality.
- Current malpractice insurance is required.
- Please use Google Chrome to complete the application and fill in every required field, especially those highlighted in red. If a field doesn’t apply to you, enter "N/A" to proceed. Without following these steps, your registration will likely not work
If you’re interested in getting involved before the 17th, we’re happy to support local practitioners in setting up sooner. Additionally, if you have leads on potential clinic locations or suggestions for how we can expand our efforts, we’d love to hear from you. Your insights are incredibly valuable.
Thank you again for your dedication to supporting communities impacted by this disaster. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or ideas.
Warm regards,

Homeopaths are welcome to contact me by mobile or email to inquire about the opportunity. Homeopathy FAQs include:
* Certification types now accepted for homeopathy include CCH, RSHom(NA) and LPH
* It's a multi-step process, you don't have to commit to volunteering by registering first. Once registered, you can view the trauma-informed care training videos, and then decide to sign up for a volunteer shift as a homeopath. You will receive updates from IHAN about the clinic shifts if you register.
* Currently volunteering as a homeopath is in-person only, in Los Angeles. There probably will NOT be accommodations provided, so local homeopaths, or those who can stay with a friend or family member, are especially encouraged to participate. Or, those who can secure a place to stay.
* There will be one kit at least from Hahnemann Labs (donated) available, however this kit does not have a lot of polychrest remedies. You can bring kits you have, and an effort will be made to acquire additional kits to have ample remedy choice available at no charge to you.
Thank you everyone!
Debbie
