Greetings,

And now we find ourselves somehow in the middle of August!? We had traveled to the Midwest to visit family last week and as you can imagine, Joe spent much of his time documenting & observing all that was in bloom! We are back home and now after a super hot and dry summer, find ourselves in a cool & rainy period. Our puppy is not the only one thoroughly confused when we open the door and don't feel like we are getting hit in the face with the heat!

One of the fun things about coming home after traveling is checking out what is blooming & what pollinators are around. Today, I want to share a bright yellow beauty we are enjoying right now and for weeks to come! Sawtooth Sunflower...a super tall native that is sure to bring lots of pollinators, birds, caterpillars, and more to your garden!
