Labor Day weekend?! Wow, what a summer! We are wrapping up the unofficial end to summer with a bit of a rainy weekend here, which hints at the change of season coming.

Lately, I've been enjoying one of my favorite parts of having so many natives around our yard...the endless bouncing of flowers from goldfinches & other birds popping in for seeds. So entertaining! And, thankful for the flowers still in bloom and so busy with bees.

Spotted bee balm is in bloom & a real treat to observe! So many happy bees enjoying them throughout the day. They are always something to see! Not to mention how unique & stunning the blooms are in a garden. They attract various bees, butterflies, and moths.
