Hi ,

Thank you for signing up to my newsletter! It means a lot to me that you are interested in pursuing your health goals through nutrition.

Speaking of health goals, last time I talked about exactly that.

(If you missed my first newsletter, let me know so I can send it to you).

In my experience coaching more than a thousand Filipinos face-to-face and online (been doing this for more than 10 years - I'm old haha) in developing healthy eating habits, it’s not the lack of goals that keep them from achieving something - it’s the presence of a huge hindrance.

Hence, this time I want to talk about that - your nutrition-related problems that keep you from achieving your health goals.

From the nutrition assessment form that my clients submitted, I took note of all the key problems that you might relate to:

1. Lack of Time and Energy

You’re overwhelmed by your busy schedule and feel exhausted, leaving you with no time or energy for meal prep or exercise.

2. Stress and Emotional Eating

Stress and anxiety push you toward comfort foods, leading to guilt and frustration as you feel trapped in a cycle of emotional eating.

3. Lack of Knowledge and Guidance

Uncertainty about proper nutrition makes you feel lost and anxious, unsure of where to start or what’s best for your health goals.

4. Consistency and Discipline

Procrastination and distractions make it hard to stay consistent, leaving you frustrated and feeling like you’ve failed every time you fall off track.

5. Financial Constraints

Healthy eating seems expensive, making you feel discouraged and stressed about balancing your budget with your desire for better nutrition.

6. Health Conditions

Your health condition feels like a barrier, limiting your ability to follow certain diets or exercise, leaving you frustrated and restricted.

7. Cravings and Appetite

Constant cravings and overeating leave you feeling out of control, guilty, and frustrated, especially when stress or hormonal changes are involved.

8. Procrastination and Lack of Motivation

Lack of motivation and delayed results make it hard to start or stick to routines, leaving you feeling discouraged and unmotivated to keep going.

These challenges are real struggles of real people like you.

The good news is they’re also solvable.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be breaking down each of these problems and giving you actionable tips and strategies to overcome them. This is to help you move past the roadblocks and finally make real progress toward your health goals.

For now, I want you to think about which of these challenges resonate the most with you. What’s been holding you back the most?

Let’s tackle this together!

To living a life in full power,

Grace Banal, RND
