Hi ,
Before you introduce yourself, people can already see you.
Your clothes.
Your grooming.
Your fit.
Your colours.
Your overall appearance.
People naturally form impressions from what they see.
That does not mean people know everything about you from your appearance.
It means your appearance gives them information before you have had the chance to give them anything else.
This matters at an interview.
It matters when meeting a client.
It matters when attending a professional event.
It matters when you are introducing yourself to people who do not know you yet.
Your appearance cannot replace competence.
It can influence whether people recognise it quickly.
That is why understanding your image matters.
The goal is not to dress for everyone.
The goal is to make choices that support the impression you want to create.
