Lemons.
What's so great about lemons?
- Half a lemon squeezed into warm water to start your day gets your digestive system up and running and provides a dose of Vitamin C.
- Lemons squeezed onto veggies in glass jars help to keep them fresh longer.
- Easy salad dressing? 2 lemons, 1/3 cup olive oil, 1 tbsp dijon, 1 tsp of honey and 1 tbsp fresh herbs or 1 tsp dried
- Lemon pepper chicken or tofu - zest one lemon over diced chicken or tofu. Toss with 1 tbsp olive oil, squeeze the lemon and a ton of crushed black pepper
- Slice lemons and place them in your water throughout the day.
- BEST TIP: If you are having an anxiety attack - take a piece of lemon and bite hard on it. The immediate sour reaction will cause a neural pathway trigger that will stop the anxiety attack.
