Hi ,
Can you believe it's been a week since my Germany trip? I feel like I've only just unpacked! There was music, a fair bit of travelling and a rather gorgeous dirndl. If you've never seen one, it's the traditional Bavarian dress with a fitted bodice, blouse, full skirt and apron.
First stop was Munich for HeidiFest, live on RTL from the Hofbräuhaus. There were 24 music acts squeezed into just over two hours, so backstage was a bit chaotic. You can imagine me trying to find where I needed to be! 😂 But what a night.
I'd bought myself a dirndl from Amazon for the show, then thought, "Hang on, who's sponsoring this?" I sent a few emails and Sportalm kindly offered to loan me one of theirs. Even better, they were staying at the Mandarin Oriental, right next door to the Hofbräuhaus. Sometimes things just fall into place, don't they? ✨

The next day, I flew from Munich to Düsseldorf. A driver was waiting to take me the 45 minutes to Cologne for a private event with RINGANA, an Austrian company that makes fresh skincare products and food supplements. Right up my street! They'd left some lovely gifts in the dressing room too, which was such a nice surprise.
There were around 4,000 women at the event and we had a brilliant time. The energy in that room was something else 💃
And now it's Sunday morning. I'm about to jump in the shower and head to one of my favourite places, Hollingworth Lake in Littleborough. I love walking by the water with those gorgeous hills all around. After airports, stages and bright lights, a bit of fresh air sounds just the ticket.
I do love the buzz of performing, but I love these quieter moments too. Time to have a wander and let it all sink in.
Sending you lots of love and wishing you a great Sunday!
Elyse 💖
