These last two weeks have flown by and during that time I was fortunate to catch up with a couple of long-time friends for coffee and a good, long chat. Too much time had passed between visits, but it was like no time had passed at all and, geez, it was good for my soul.

I think it's so important for our mental health to have those sorts of connections with friends. People who have been around through good times and tough ones, too. Someone who knows your history and understands the way you tick, as well as your quirks. A person you can be yourself with—no pretenses!
