Christmas Edition * One Last 2021 Clean My Shelves

image

December 15, 2021

This is the last newsletter you'll see from me before Christmas; I'm taking next week off. But I did want to offer one last Clean the Shelves giveaway so I can get books in the mail (ideally) by Saturday. I'm sure there will be a line at our little post office in town with their two-hour window for service, but I thought the winners might like a book to read during the week before Christmas and New Years Eve. OR, if you're like me, it can be another book to add to the perpetual to-be-read pile!

I've read Home Safe and A Cure for Dreams in this selection and can recommend both, but I suggest you look at the descriptions on Amazon. I’ll pick THREE lucky winners this time from those who send me their choice by replying to this e-mail. Please take note: all of these are lovingly USED books. Sorry, non-US friends, I can only ship within the US. If by chance I choose someone outside the country, I’ll offer a $5 Amazon gift card instead.

The contest closes on FRIDAY night 12/17/21, at 7 p.m. CST. Winners will be notified via e-mail and have 48 hours to respond before another winner is chosen. Please check your e-mail Friday night or Saturday morning if possible. Winners will also be announced in the next newsletter.

I haven't been able to read as much as I'd like this last week. There has been shopping to take care of, presents to wrap, and a few extra play dates with the grand girls. I did get some fun book mail today though, so I'm tempted to put aside the book I'm reading now to dive into Kiss the Girl by Melanie Jacobsen. I'm a sucker for cute covers (which hasn't always served me well), especially red illustrated ones, and I've heard so many good things about this story that I clicked on the 'paperback' button to buy it last week. I've added the e-book to the recs below in case you want to give it a try. Or have you read it already?

I'll be back in your inbox on the 27th, wrapping up the year with a sale, a giveaway, and some more sweet treats. Until then, have a safe and blessed holiday!

~ Dawn

She’s bad at reading signals, and he’s sent all the wrong ones.

"I loved the banter here, the character growth, and the complicated reasons why they needed to work through their issues. Great read!" - Amazon review

From USA Today bestselling writer and the author of So Not My Thing comes a brand new Christmas romance about two friends who get caught in their own faking dating trap. Swoony and unapologetically funny!

"I think I’ve found a new closed-door romance author to love, because outside of the story, Melanie Jacobson’s talent for creating interesting and wonderful characters, and her storytelling is all just so perfect." - Amazon review
