Travel plans sure have changed in the era of COVID. The last five days have been a whirlwind of scheduling and timing a COVID test for our son within 72 hours of flying per instructions from the airport before he could get through security for a Chicago-to-Argentina flight. As of yesterday morning, he arrived safely in Buenos Aires and will meet up with his brother this morning. That said, it took a lot of patience (and gas!) for two, four-hour roundtrip dashes to O’Hare Airport this weekend.
After we dropped him off on Saturday morning, he missed his flight because his test results weren’t available before his afternoon departure. Luckily, my husband and I were still in the area before driving the two hours back home. So we picked him up, he rescheduled for the next day, and we drove back home for the night. The test results came in Sunday morning so we repeated our trip to the airport. The good news is I was able to get a little Christmas shopping finished both days while we stuck around Chicago. The bad news: the stress of this last week sent my productivity down the drain. This mama sure would appreciate some prayers and/or good wishes for a safe trip and an easy, carefree return home for our sons.

This Friday, the sixth and final (for now) novella in the Silver Leaf Falls series releases! To celebrate Brittney Joy's Christmas in Silver Leaf Falls, the other authors decided to discount the first five books to $.99 each. Personally, I’m working on a Blueberry Point novella at the moment that will be used for an exclusive promotion next year. After that, I’ll be working on a four-novella seasonal collection set in the Blueberry Point world. It will include the already-published Love, Lies and Fireflies and also the 2020 Christmas story I wrote called Her North Shore Christmas. The collection will also feature two new novellas as well as recipes and other exclusive content related to the series. That will be available in early spring. Later in 2022, I’ll be releasing two new Blueberry Point novels but I don’t have the dates firm yet.

- I will ship it to your address by media mail within 24 hours of receiving payment.
- If this is a gift for someone and you'd like it sent to another address, I'll gift wrap the book(s) and include a holiday card and bookmark.
