Happy Fall Y'all! I hope your week is treating you wonderfully so far.
I'm looking forward to the weekend when my husband and I travel up to Wisconsin for a few days. He's actually bringing about twenty students on a field trip so I'll just be tagging along. My plan is to hole up in the hotel room and find this book since it's due to the editor next week. I'll be away from the usual things that call me to procrastinate: our doggo, the food pantry, and cleaning supplies. I have one place to go and that's to Ski-Hi Apples in Baraboo. They have the most wonderful, melt-in-your-mouth apple turnovers and cider donuts. It should be a productive weekend if I don't gorge on too many sweet things.

He growled under his breath. “It was a little more involved than that. We’re talking fire, property damage”—he took a deep breath—“I’m feeling heart palpitations already.”
