You can probably guess what happened recently in our household after reading this newsletter's subject line, but in case you missed it⏤we adopted a puppy!
My husband and I have been without a dog since February, so we've been on the lookout for a few months. We knew we wanted to adopt and it had to be a pup to ensure we could train it properly for when our grandgirls visit. So, a lab mix pup came up for adoption at the local shelter and we brought home Briggs on December 31. It's been a full ten days⏤meeting new friends, playing with his new toys, learning to sit, and using up LOTS of paper towels. I've forgotten how much work pups are. It's a lot like having toddlers only Briggs is much faster! We love him.
In book news, I'm working on a special novella which will be available April 1st. It's part of a HUGE promotion that you're going to love but I'm sworn to secrecy at the moment. What I can tell you is it's set in the Blueberry Point Romance world. I hope I'm given the go-ahead to share more details soon.
