Hello, Dear Readers!
I caught myself studying the seed packets display when I stopped at the home store today. That's always a sign that I'm looking beyond February and dreaming about all things green. Maybe visiting Tucson for five days jumpstarted this. The cacti were amazing in the botanical gardens and the Sonoran desert. I didn't see many flowers in bloom except when I ventured inside the butterfly habitat at the gardens, but the scenery definitely inspired me.
I'm back to work on Apple Blossom Dreams (Book #2, Port Chance series) and it's slow going. I took a few weeks off to work on another book, and it was necessary, but I lost the rhythm on this novel. I'm not worried; I'll be back on track within the week, but deadlines may need to be moved.

I finished my last book in Tucson and found myself without anything to read at the airport, so I picked up Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe by Heather Webber. I'm not even halfway through and I already looked to see if she had other books (yes!). It's women's fiction, set in the South, and has a magical element that I love. I highly recommend it.
