Goodbye, June. Hello July!
I've always felt summer kicks into high gear during July even though schools have been out for a month and summer officially started nine days ago. Maybe because (around here at least) everyone still seems to be busy with sports, library programs, and other structured activities. Then everyone switches into vacation mode come July. The same is true for my husband and me. He teaches a field camp in May and June so I'd been living solo until he returned from Wyoming last Monday. We'll be around here on the Fourth for our wonderful, small-town celebration with the traditional parade, fireworks, street dance, and flea market. Then it's off to Wisconsin with my daughter, son-in-law and the two grand girls for some camping. We haven't camped in Door County, WI since our kids were little. I'm anxious to see if it's changed much. What will you be up to in July?
In BOOK NEWS, Love, Lies and Lullabies (BPL #3) is FREE today and tomorrow (Friday & Saturday), and so are hundreds of other romance novels, from steamy to sweet. Also, I've hinted that the Blueberry Point series would join the Hearts in Hendricks series on all platforms sometime this year. Amazon is making it more difficult for authors to be exclusive only to them. So in mid-July, I'll be adding the BPL series e-books to Barnes & Noble, Apple, Kobo, Google Play and others. This means the books will no longer be available in Kindle Unlimited. Buuuuttt, if you download them between now and the middle of the month in Kindle Unlimited, they'll forever remain on your Kindle until you read and/or delete them. I just wanted to give you all a heads up if you've been putting off reading some of those titles. Go to the series page to see all of the Blueberry Point books.

July will be one big Christmas in July celebration! There are special promotions and Facebook groups dedicated to authors sharing their Christmas books all month. WHAT AM I READING? I'm switching over to non-fiction for the week. I saw someone talking about this book called Joyful: the Surprising Power of Ordinary Things to Create Extraordinary Happiness in a Facebook group and it sounded like something I needed.
